Depending on the project, fire5films’ owner, Aaron Sherman, has served the roles of Ideator, Script Editor, Executive Producer, Producer, Director, Director of Photography, and Editor. With a firm and clear grasp of solutions to a multitude of challenges, he easily understands what the needs are for any project. With that understanding, he taps the very best talent to assist when the project requires scaling.

Aaron grew up in California with his sights set on stage performance. After receiving a degree in Acting and Lighting Design, Aaron co-founded a community acting troupe in his hometown of Sonoma and put a solid two years into developing it. Although an exciting time, he aspired for a larger stage and New York City fit the bill. With two years of mild success in the city, he landed a small gig as a script supervisor on a feature film starring then up-and-comers Ben Affleck, Sam Rockwell, and French Stewart. Being behind the camera was something entirely new and Aaron found his new love. Aaron's natural instinct for story and the process of crafting and creating videos was born.

While working in theatre, he met his beautiful wife who is a fellow Actor, Singer, and Voice Over Artist. Although a business of her own, Loreal has collaborated on multiple projects with fire5films and has elevated the production value immensely. She can be found at lorealsherman.com. At that time, Aaron stumbled into the world of advertising, taking a temp position on the referral of a friend. Learning everything he could about the print world, cameras, the then new NLE editing software suites, he began to produce videos. First internally and then for the web and commercial broadcast.

In 2005, with a growing client list, Aaron formed fire5films. Since then fire5films has become a go-to company for all things digital media. Aaron, although he calls himself a filmmaker, is better known as a digital media specialist.
